The mophie juice pack is an awesome case, I have not tried the Apple
case so can't comment on that, the Juice Pack is awesome though.

Hi. I'm looking for a good battery case for my iPhone 8. I've been
reading reviews and I'm leaning toward either a Mophie Juice Pack or an
Apple Smart case as these two cases seem to offer a huge amount of
battery time for both talk and Internet usage. However, I'm open to
other recommendations as well as any warnings as to why Apple or Mophie
might not be the most ideal choices. I'm currently using a Supcase
Unicorn Beetle which I love as it's reasonably thin and light and seems
to offer decent protection. I don't really want to give up that case
but I do need something that offers an extra battery. I'd ideally like
something thin although I don't think Mophie cases are known for being
all that thin. I'd also like something that can still use the lightning port.
