I have it locked in portrait and it still works that way. Mine is an older IPad Mini, though, so maybe the newer ones are different.

You might have a better experience with portrait mode. I'm not sure. I do know the thing that throws me is that in some apps, buttons that were at the bottom of the screen on the iPhone are on the top with iPads. Which generation of the mini is it? Recently I have been "given" an iPad mini at work to use for testing and for a conference presentation coming up in a couple of weeks. I have been spending time trying to get used to the larger screen of the iPad. One thing I have noticed is that when I am in settings for example, when I double-tap on an item like accessibility that unlike the iPhone where the entire screen changes, there is what I would consider a popup window that shows the accessibility settings in it. However, the position of this popup window is by no means consistent as far as I can tell. Is what I am experiencing normal, and is there any way to make things more standardized and easier to use? I have also noticed that it is more difficult for the iPad to accept my gestures than the iPhone. Any suggestions on how to make the iPad more user-friendly would be appreciated.
