For anyone who updated to the latest Blind Square and are finding the Aira announcements to be annoying, here is a way to permanently remove those announcements from one of the developers. Just double tap on the link rather than copying and pasting. Begin forwarded message:

You can, at this time, permanently disable the AIRA advisory. We recognize, in areas where there is a high density of free access areas (wonderful!) that the alert for each can be less than desired. To disable, you can use either of the following two switches. One to disable, one to re-enable (as there are AIRA enhancements in the works). To use the switches, simply copy the string and paste it (just as if it was a URL) in Safari, then run it. The first switch will disable the AIRA alerts. The second, which you can use down-stream, reactivates.
