I don't like my Apple watch because it doesn't reliably tell the time without speaking. It may be operator error, but I have tried repeatedly to make haptic time work ... and sometimes it does. However, often the watch speaks the time instead of vibrating it. I sometimes wear my Seiko Braille watch because I can count on it to be silent. and my phone gives me all the messages and news headlines that I want. One setting I have enabled is supposed to make the watch stop talking when you place your palm over it. Mine seems to feel it has to finish the thought before it will stop, palm over or not.

However. The Apple watch includes exercise goal setting that I don't have otherwise--how many hours I stood for at least a minute, how many minutes I actually exercised ... current heart rate, heart rate min and max at six hour intervals. I'm old, so I like to track that once in a while.
