I'm curious about something.

When I had my IPhone 4, I changed from Earthlink to CenturyLink (q.com). It
automatically set the account up as an IMap account on my phone. I really
couldn't change it. I kind of liked it because it made deleting messages
easier.

When I tried setting it up on the IPhone 5, it went to the pop3 settings,
which is the same as what I have on my computers. Now, I've been told by
CenturyLink that CenturyLink didn't support IMap. So, why would the IPhone
have done this in the first place? Kind of strange.

In fact, the new IPhone asked me for my email password before I had to
delete my account and add it again with the new settings. I'm guessing it's
because of the new settings.

Anyone know what the deal is there?
