Well, the strange thing is that with every other update, the default voice has
always started up with the phone as soon as it begins speaking. They did show
up, well, sort of. I finally got my default voice to show as a button, so I
thought I would test it out with a sample. The voice is male and when I pressed
the "play sample" button, Samantha showed up again!
It's finally fixed, but I'm guessing you are correct. Maybe this upgrade was
slower or something else about it is different.

there, but the ones I had downloaded were not accessible, no button, just the
name. The ones I hadn't downloaded were listed and downloadable.
Even the SIRI male and female options in Voice over were listed, but I
couldn't select them as Voice Over voices either.
The other options under UK, India, etc were available to me.
So how can I get my US voices to work again and where are they if I have
all ready downloaded them?
