I finally figured out how to read one email and go to the next one without it going back to mail boxes button because going to the next one and previous didn't work for me. I don't always open my email unless the message is very long but read them by laying 3 fingers on the screen but I found if I actually open the message and read the first one then it goes to the next one just fine. Don't know if that will work for anyone else but does for me so far.
