No. The earpiece, is also a speaker. The phone is stereo, and you could not
achieve this, with just 1 speaker.

Can someone please tell me just how many speakers there are on an xr phone?
I know all about the speaker on the front of the phone I hold to my ear to
listen when I am on the phone, but what I am talking about is the speakers
on the bottom of the phone between the charging port.
