I think the feature you're looking for is called multipoint. Make sure
you check for it when buying headphones since not all $50 headphones
have this feature.

Is there a means to have airpods pro automatically switch from a pc running
Windows10 to iphone when say a call comes in? I tried these for a time and
paired them to my pc, but I could not get it to switch.
I also noticed that it did not automatically reconnect when pc resumed from
standby.
