I am not sure how anybody could pocket dial somebody with an iPhone unless they leave their device unlocked and with the Phone app open on either the Favourites or Recents tab. Even then something conductive which most clothing is not, needs to press on the touch screen. I have owned iPhones for almost 10 years and in all that time I don't think my phone ever called somebody unless maybe I was deleting recents very quickly and I hadn't swiped down to "Delete" before double tapping. More likely maybe SIRI somehow got activated and it thought maybe it heard something and interpreted it as making a phone call.
