I took this problemto my Apple class last night. V/O isn’t recognizing the status bar but sighted people can see it. It’s definitely a bug. They assigned a gesture of 4 finger single tap to get to the status bar. I hope someone else on the list can tell you how to do this as I don’t know all the steps.
