Well, I tried out Splashtop as well, and it gives me the same problem. Makes me wonder if instead of the apps, it could be a problem with the keyboard I have. It came as part of a keyboard case, but is detachable. I ended up not liking the case because it adds so much bulk, but the keyboard is nice for when I need it, has decent travel especially being as thinn as it is. Seems to be like a fake magic keyboard, butt thinner. But since it’s made for iPad, maybe it just won’t do the job. After trying out two different apps, I am starting to think that maybe the apps aren’t the problem. Or, just about any remote desktop app will have this same problem. Hoping to hear back from the seller soon, to see if therre is something that can be done. I’ve seen some keyboards like this that have a hot key to switch between different layouts for different operating systems. Perhaps if that is possible with this keyboard, there might be hope. Will keep you all posted, as I’m pretty sure I can’t be the only one to have ever needed this.
