I have totally given up on listening to Audible on my Apple Watch. You can only do so via a Bluetooth headset and I guess if you were the kind of person who would want to listen while out for a run where you don’t want to bring your iPhone I can understand how you would want to do so. But if you mostly have y our iPhone nearby I simply see no reason to bother to wait forever until a book transfers to the watch. If I could listen via the built-in speaker it would be different because I could then listen at night at low volume with my wrist near my head/ear without disturbing my wife and I’d like that instead of using a headset in bed.
