I discovered a feature that may have always been there, but it is new to me. If someone on an email list tends to be rude, negative, or you just do not want to see their messages any longer, you can block that specific sender. You double tap on the from field. Then flick right to where it says other, and the person's individual address, and do the one finger triple tap. As you flick through the options, one is block contact. Double tap on that and you will not see that persons posts any longer.
