When I lived in Philadelphia, someone in my building passed from a heart attack. I was holding his dog so that the Seeing Eye could come and get him. My dog was at the vet at the moment. She had gotten pancreatitis. When I went to take her to the vet, I asked someone to mind the other dog that I was holding. She fed the dog. Then she asked someone else to take the dog, and she fed the dog again. I was asked by a neighbor in the building on my floor to visit them without the dog with me. When I got to my apt, the dog had spent all over my living room. I then took him out, and he spent again. When the Seeing Eye came to get the dog, I asked if I could have the harness handle, because mine was coming apart. The instructor asked me what I planned to do with it. I wish I could have seen his face. LOL!!
