Hello all, I took a trip to the apple store today to ask about my phone turning on when the lightning connector was connected to the phone and with nothing connected to the USb end. A tech tried it and my phone turned on for her as well. She tested several iPhone 5's and it did the same thing. She then found an article for me regarding the problem. Here is the URL. Wendy
