I bought Miccus SR711 or some number like that from Accessible Electronics for
$64.99. You can turn the volume up and down. Sometimes, when you get a new
Bluetooth, you have to turn volume up on your iPhone.

Also, this one is completely compatible with my phone. I can navigate in, for
instance, Contacts. I had an inexpensive set - just great for hearing, had
volume controls and all, paired quickly, really good, only, somehow, I could
not navigate easily in Contacts or Settings. They were fine for just hearing
VoiceOver, and if VoiceOver was reading text, but when I navigated, it was like
when I first tried to use a touch screen.

Subject: Anyone know of bluetooth earphones with remote and volume buttons?

Hi List,

I apologize for another post about Bluetooth earphones but I'll keep this one
very specific. I'm a big user of the wired earpods that came with my iPhone 8
and I've gotten very used to being able to control playing media with the
remote and volume buttons while the phone is in my pocket. I primarily listen
to BARD Mobile books with my iPhone and it is nice to be able to rewind, etc.
without removing the phone from my pocket.

I've tried a couple of inexpensive Bluetooth earphones but they either did not
have remote and volume buttons or the functions available with the remote
button were much less extensive than with the wired earpods. Can anyone
recommend a set of Bluetooth earphones with a remote and volume buttons? I'm
interested in earbuds as opposed to headphones because I use these when I'm
walking. And as I said, I'll be using these primarily with media playing apps
such as BARD Mobile, Audible, or Music and I want to be able to move forward
and backward with the remote, start and stop playback, change tracks, etc. and
also control the volume without removing the iPhone from my pocket. The volume
isn't as important as the remote features and I don't mind if the buttons I'm
seeking are on a wire that connects the buds together or hanging down from the
buds. I'll also say that I think all generations of the Apple Airpods are
over-priced for the feature set they offer.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
