Move your cursor to the beginning of what you want to copy, then flick the
rotor to text selection, I suggest flicking down to set text selection to
words, then flick right until you copied all the text you want. Now turn the
rotor to Edit (most likely turning counter clockwise gets you there faster),
once on Edit flick down to copy and double tap. Now open your email, go into
the message body and again turn the rotor to Edit, flick down to paste and
double tap.
One of those tasks which can be done well enough, but it would take 10% of the
time on a computer, but then again you of course won’t have your text message
on the computer so in this case you have to do it this way.
You could of course select the entire message and copy it, paste it into an
email and email it to yourself, then on the computer forward that email and
quickly delete the parts you don’t wat.

Sieghard

Subject: selecting part of a text message and sending it in an email?

Hello Listers,

I am running the latest iOS on an sE iPhone. How would I go about selecting a
part of a text message and pasting it in to an email?

Thanks
Michael
