Hi all, I have the volume of my ringer and alerts set to fairly high, as I often don't hear my phone ring if i'm not nearby or if it's buried in a pocket or bag. Unfortunately, this also has the effect of voiceover bellowing out the name or number of the caller, which doesn't exactly allow me to ever be discrete, as VO will shout to the world the identity of everyone who calls me. It seems that irrespective of voiceover's volume, when the phone rings, voiceover will speak at the same volume of the ringing. Similarly, I quite enjoy the bedtime feature of the alarm app, whereby you indicate a time at which you'd like to wake, and the alarm sound will start very quietly and gradually get louder, so that you sort of "slide" awake. Unless you have voiceover enabled, in which case you will hear "Alarm!" belted out at top notch before hearing the initial gentle strains of the awake alarm, which is rather jolting, as you might imagine. Have you guys found any way around this? or do you just get over it and deal?
