Hi Lynn, First, I would restart the watch to see if that fixes it. If that doesn't work, hold down both buttons for about 10 seconds to force a reset. I don't know how to change the pitch of the voice, since there doesn't seem to be a setting for that, but you can adjust the speed by opening the Watch app on your phone and choosing Accessibility, then VoiceOver, and adjusting the speaking rate.
