It lowers the volume of other audio when VoiceOver is speaking.
It is on your rotor and you are maybe accidentally flicking on it; but in any 
case, if yu don't want it, make sure it is off, then go to the VoiceOver 
Settings, Rotor, and find it and assuming it says selected; double tap so it 
just says audio ducking without saying selected and that will remove it from 
the rotor so you won't have to deal with it again.

Hi,

Often, when I am using aps on my phone, I will hear "audio ducking on" or 
"audio ducking off, as I touch the screen".  I'm not sure this is something I 
am using, especially since I don't have any idea what it does..  

Is there any way to hide it, so I don't have to keep hearing it turn on and off?
