Ok for others, I discovered that if I go into the fitbit app on my iPhone, and tap on my name then on the versa2 icon I can edit my details there.
According to the help and manual, you have to be able to swipe to the alexa app on the fitbit to enable it. I setup alexa on my phone and it says my fitbit is offline, so I uess I will need some sighted help to set it to online.
