When you first open the app, you will need to give it permission to access the camera and read through the agreement about its accuracy, etc. Each time you open a new channel, there will be a description and a button to watch the video demonstrating that channel made by the developer, who is blind and works at Microsoft. After you have read the descriptions and maybe even watched the videos, feel free to come back with more specific questions as each channel is slightly different in how \you use them.
