I found a fair number of older applications no longer exist, so other than restoring from a local backup those applications are lost. But I agree with Sieghard's analysis of your error message. But if you see #application_name needs to be updated. This app needs to be updated y the developer to work on this version of iPadOS" then you've fallen into my use-case ;>
