Hi Donald. Once you're inside a book, you simply need to double-tap anywhere on the book with one finger. This will bring up the menu which you can then use to close the book returning you to the library. Use the "close book" option. The exit option simply lets you escape the menu and puts you back in the book. If you haven't done so already, take time to look though that menu.
