To me a small loss of sound quality in this would be perfectly acceptable given the fact that at $299.99 the Bose neck speaker is 5 times as expensive as the other one. Of course that exact same one you provided the link for and which after applying the $10 coupon is $59.99 costs $188 on Amazon Canada, I just don't get it sometimes. But I found another on Amazon Canada which even has FM Radio and which otherwise sounds quite similar for $29.99 or something like that and I may give that a try. I think the concept is not bad, but I certainly would never ever spend that much on any Bluetooth headset/speaker and here in Canada the Bose is $399 Canadian which is actually pretty much exactly what $299 US is given the current exchange rate. I just realized that it's even on sale for $299 Canadian on Amazon Canada right now, but that is still way too much, if it were $149.99 I would probably consider it. The only headset I'd spend $300 or $400 on would be if Sonos finally comes up with a high quality headset which acts as its own Sonos device/player and which preferably would also have Alexa/Google Assistant built in. Maybe 2020 will finally be the year when they'll release it.
