It does not work with a 6S or earlier because they did not have an NFC chip which was available for third party developers, it was locked down to allow Apple Pay and that’s it. The iPhone 7 and later have an NFC chip which developers can access and use for their apps/devices.

I know that the Libre app is accessible but I don't know anything about the Dexcom. My doctor wants me to get the Dexcom because it has alarms and the Libre does not. The downside of it is that you have to enter in codes every so often. To me, if it is accessible that doesn't really matter because there is always Aira or some way to work that out. I also noticed that the Libre link app does not work on the 6 S. Anyone know why? Or do you have a customer service number? Does anyone have any answers or where I can go to find out more?
