Exact,

And yes we’re in the opposite seasons to you guys up north.

OK, I get it now, being in New Zealand you referred to “northern hemisphere”
and “fall” since that is spring for you guys, sorry for the question.
As far as naming and “levels”, it really is immaterial, Apple will name it as
they will, but for now it’s likely the annual or twice annual update cycle will
continue, there will be more expensive phones with all the latest bells and
whistles and other less expensive options for the majority of the people who
don’t need or want to spend top Dollar (or Euro or whatever other currency).
I think it’s a given based on what information is out there that the phones in
September will all include 5G modems, whether those from Qualcomm or
proprietary Apple designed ones we shall see, I just read an article that the
5G Qualcomm modem may be too thick for Apple’s liking and require the phone to
be 8mm thick and that because of this Apple is also working on it’s own 5G
modem, but that as so often is the case, Apple is not putting their eggs all in
one basket and that they are most likely working on iPhone designs with
Qualcomm’s modem as well as their own. I would also expect that we may see a
somewhat refreshed form factor this fall, maybe USB-C charging/connectivity,
but I have so far read little about dual authentication options as in Face Id
and under-display Touch Id.

I believe their thoughts are to start putting out 2 levels of devices,

The so called lower level products in march that being what we are believing is
to be the iPhone 9,
Which is being pegged as the phone to replace the SE and an up dated version of
the 8,

Then you have the higher end devices being released in September or what the
northern hem call fall,

That being the pro devices such as the 11 pro and pro max,

Note this also came with the iPhone 11 a slightly lesser model but with the
face id and LCD screen,

Which was released as the up dated version of the iPhone Xr.

So they now have 3 so called levels of devices but as noted,
When the replacement to the new phone comes out,
If they call the new one the 9,
What do they call the next generation?

10 and 11 are taken already,
I assume 12 will come out this year,

Or is there a name change about to happen.
Or like Samsung do they start using letters.

Well, that was dumb on my part. Not sure what happened to my text.
I said, or intended to say, I would not put it passed Apple to use the number 9
since they skipped that number.
I still think it would be stupid.

The reason they could name it the iPhone9 is it looks similar to the iPhone8.

Is is possible that the I phone sims card would be interchangeable with, lets
say a Samsung phone? If not is there anyway that you can get information from
the i phone to the Samsung without a whole hell of lot of work? Has any one
heard that I phone is coming out with the I phone 9? Is this possible and why?
What would be so important about going back instead of forward? This is
confusing and a little strange even for Apple! Georgi
