I kept getting an error like that yesterday.
I didn't find a way to get rid of that app from my update list. However, the good news is, TODAY, when I went to update apps on my list, the update for that app downloaded with no problem. So my thought is to give the App Store glitch a few hours to straighten itself out, and try again.
