Christopher, You're exactly right. I already have the Word, Excel, and Powerpoint separate apps on my iPhone and was wondering what might happen if I executed that re-download button next to the Microsoft Office app listing in the App Store. Apparently, no one posting replies has tried this yet so I think I'll do nothing and see if others comment.
