That is correct, it is also not possible to set a timer for a sighted person when in video mode since the assumption is nobody would want to use a timer for video where you usually would want to be able to move the phone around to capture whatever action it is you are recording. If it’s a scene where you want to take a video of, for example some people and maybe you want sound because everybody is supposed to say something you could always start the video, people can start talking as you or whoever started the video, walks back to the group to take their place.
