Hi, a few questions come to mind.
1. Did the same version of the app work before?
2. Is this a new app which are you first trying out?
3. Are you using iOS 5, or iOS 6?
I ask this because I've seen some apps which are optimized for iOS 5 and
won't work on iOS 6, and then there are some which are the opposite,
like Muxica where it works on iOS 6, but crashes like you describe on iOS 5.
Also, the type of iPhone you have might make a difference. I know this
won't necessarily help, but between you and your friend, there has to be
some commonality where this app doesn't work. This will help you report
it to the developer or make a review in the app store in case others
have the same issue.
