So, many, many years ago, say around 2008 / 2009 , when one could jailbreak an iPhone, there was a way to add a specific contact directly to the Home screen in order to more quickly call the contact. As far as I know, such a feature was never offered in an a commercial release of iOS. Moreover, I haven’t heard of anyone jail-breaking iOS in quite a long time.
