Its the build quality for sure. Between the connectors is kind of a rope material or a braided cable if you will. Also, the connectors are made of metal, the jack portion of the adapter and of course the lignting connector. Like I said before, they are a bit pricey, but I feel as long as I don't lose them, they will last me for years to come. Just wanted to give the info. I've bought ugreen products before like an external SD card reader and am very happy with it.
