Hi, I got my new SE yesterday and I set it up this morning. Everything went fine until I put the old sim in the new phone and got no service with a message that said the sim had locked.
I reached out to Sprint and after two hours in an online chat, I found out my old sim is not compatible with my new phone. They are sending me a new sim and waving the shipping charge which I appreciate, but what a pain! And here’s my other question. The new SE has a digital sim, but apparently the phone can‘t be activated without a physical sim. So what is the point of that digital sim? Oh, and this was sort of snarky. At the end of this marathon chat session, the sprint guy said, well if you had bought your phone from us this wouldn’t have happened. Grrrrr! Anyway I just wanted to warn any other unsuspecting sprint customers that you better get a new sim with your new phone and save yourself some aggravation.
