You can feel the rim around the home button even though it’s haptic and non-mechanical. So you feel a slight depression. The sensation is very different though. It’s very odd. It’s almost as if the screen bounces a little. Someone from Apple Accessibility said their little motors in there. At any rate it so I don’t know I find it a little disconcerting but yes you can turn that off so it feels more normal when you just press there.
