Well if she wants a custom route, one way to kind of do this with Blind Square is to put a marker IE add a place at each corner so it alerts you when you are there. Of course, GPS accuracy can vary widely so depending on an app for this could get a little dicey. Landmarks that she can find would be much better. I've heard that LoadStone might do this, but I've never tried it. I believe it is $7.99 in the app store.
