Hello Fanus, A subscription is not required to purchase either individual songs or entire albums from Amazon.com
I find that the prices of individual titles are identical to iTunes. Album prices are usually comparable, also. To be clear, I download my music via Internet Explorer version 11, on a Windows 7 32-bit PC. I think Amazon offers some kind of desktop music download app but I found it extremely difficult to use with Jaws; however, this was some years ago and the desktop app may have improved since then. When it is all said and done, while I purchase all of my music from Amazon.com, I manage that content in iTunes for Windows. Select all of the newly purchased album titles and select New Playlist. 9. Give the Playlist the same name of the Album. 10. Sync the new playlist to my iOS device. Again, just the broad strokes but, all things being equal, given that I’ve been using this method for about 7 years or so, it takes me less than 15 minutes to go from purchase to syncing songs to my iOS device. Since the internal tags of classical music often has different artists on some tracks, or different conductors, orchestras, etc., it gets crazy making. But, look for a folder called Compilations. Most of the time, these albums are marked as compilations so they will show up by either the album name, or conductor.
