This ios is so crab Richard, everybody who reproduces bugs has other experiences. That is like ios11.0, most had no bugs but some had a bunch of them. What I can reproduce is that on ios12 I haven’t had any of these annoyances so they are certainly tramendous bugs even if they are device specific on my iphone xr 64 gb. davy

Now, making a mistake and deleting still allows VoiceOver to continue speaking. But, I still do not get the letters spoken as I delete them. This is curious to me. I cannot think of another setting that would account for the lack of speech when I delete characters. But, I cannot duplicate the VoiceOver going silent after editing in an email.
