I received it on Monday. These are my observations so far. The setup was wonderful and very easy. I put the two phones together when it was asked if I wanted to transfer data from my old phone. It was perfect except I had to download an update which at the end put me back in the hello screen. I could not find the English hello so I called Apple Accessibility and they told me to shut off my phone and bring it back up. When I did so it asked for my pin and when I had put it in I again was asked for my apple ID password. Once typed in there was the whole screen with my folders and apps, some loading. The fingerprint and home button has been a challenge to remember as I had gotten used to the haptic swipe. However, the fingerprint is really snappy and quick. The loading of pages and opening of apps is also snappy. Of course the phone is much easier for me to hold. At the moment I don't have a case, but that is on its way. I am hoping it will not make the phone too much bigger. All in all, this has been a great change for me. It looks very much like Apple will not go back to the smaller phones so it will be my phone for as long as possible before I need to get a new one which will likely be much bigger.
