Hi Mary, I had an iPhone 7 before I got my new SE. It was in good condition and was working fine except that the battery was no longer lasting as long as I wanted. In fact, I had the battery replaced in January of last year but lately I was still having to charge my phone every day by dinnertime.
The new phone seems to have much better battery life though I don’t know that it’s simply a matter of it being a brand new phone with a brand new battery. I don’t think the battery life is necessarily better than in any new iPhone I’ve had. Still I absolutely don’t regret my purchase. The much snappier performance of the new SE is worth the price of admission all on its own. Also, and this is really just a side note, I find that braille screen input is working much more consistently on my new SE than it did on the iPhone 7. I’m not sure why that is, but. I am very happy about it.
