Mary, Speaking generally, only the meeting's host can manage and assign people to break out rooms. If you are a co-host, you do not have the ability. I have been using Zoom a lot for work, and this week we've been doing a lot of the break out rooms. I haven't done it on the iPhone, and probably won't since I usually Zoom when at work. I would assume it works much the same way on iOS that it does on the computer. All of this is mute unless you are the host though. If you are attending a meeting and will be assigned to a break out room, there's nothing you have to do other than show up at the appointed time. The host handles everything else.
