Hi Alan, Well, I’ve had no focus issues which is the reason I’m using Outlook at this point. I’d like to mail app but I really have grown very tired of the focus issues that have lasted for several months. I hope it works out for you when you try it.

I like that the native Mail app references All mail when you want to see everything and Outlook uses Archive for its terminology the best I can tell. With the Mail app, I could go through messages OK but once I open the message and came out of it, then the problem started. Focus was totally lost. I’ve written Apple about it and I know others have as well, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be fixed this round. Christopher, I'd be curious as to your take on the Outlook app versus the native Mail app. I didn't have much luck with the Outlook app when I first looked at it but that's been a number of years ago. I received one of those generic replies from Apple Accessibility about the native Mail lost focus issue so I can't say I was encouraged by it. I sort of expected a more on point reply to an issue I've reported at least three times and which has been around ever since iOS 13 came out.
