Hello Richard, I thought that this setting would do it, but it does not. When one is on speaker phone and puts the phone to the ear or touches the hand to the top of the phone, the ear piece carries the sound and it does not go back to speaker phone unless the user hides keypad and selects speaker. In short, I do not believe that there is a means by which to carry out what the user is trying to perform. I think that the only means of alleviating this issue is to lock/turn screen off while the call is on speaker phone.
