If this number is in the recent calls list, its easy to flick up to more info, double tap and then flick right until you get to block this caller.
You could create a contact, then go to settings, phone, blocked contacts, at the very bottom is an Add new button, which brings up your contacts and you could add it that way. Or you would have to call it, hang up immediately even before it connects, then block from the recent call list. That is the only ways I know of.
