There is a variety of ring tones, and you can assign any of them for your default ring. You can edit a contact and give the contact a specific ring, if you want to. I do, pretty much for the fun of it.
You can change your text from Ding to other sound. I have mine on tweat, and have it set for twice, so twice, I get two little bird whistles, whenever I get a text.
