Hello.
first a little background.

I am working with a person who suffers from ptsd after an injury caused
by an explosion.
apart from the psychological injuries, the physical consequences mainly,
are that his hands shake, and navigating the touch screen is very
dificult.

so, is it possible, and how can the touch screen be made less sensitive,
or delayed action imposed on the device to allow location and activation
of icons and other app elements on the screen, and within an app.
Flicking is really dificult for him, and of course explore by touch with
hand tremmer causes consequences that develop frustration
We can use a bluetooth keyboard to enter data, so that is not so much of
an issue. were there keyboard commands to navigate programs and home screens
that would be desirable, but I can't find out if this is possible,
so I guess not. Guessing is of course no use at all.

We can use siri for a number of tasks of course, but the locations where
the device can be used may not always be condusive to dictation.
I have looked on applevis, but in the limited time I have, I haven't
turned up much that is solving these problems.
There are specialised switches, so where to find out about these, there
availability and if they would help, would be useful.
Many thanks.

Joe
