That's it, I've heard of noise cancellation. What does that do, and where would you set it?

Hi Carolyn, Do you mean VoiceOver sounds? If so, open VoiceOver settings and go to Audio Settings, then Sounds & Haptics. You can turn them off there. You can also add Sounds to the rotor to make it easy to switch them on and off if you want them sometimes but not at others.
