Where they unable to fix it or rather reluctant to do so? I fear the last.
Maybe because too few visually impaired people make reports to Apple about
our bugs.

I'd be very surprised if iOS 14 corrects the native Mail app focus issue if
they were unable to correct it through the multiple iterations of iOS 13.
Fortunately, Outlook for iOS is working great for me and doesn't have the
focus issue so I'm done with the native Mail app.

In all the coverage of the online event today, I have seen absolutely
nothing about anything new for Accessibility, voiceover or otherwise. That�s
not unusual. But sometimes they show stuff on the slides that they don�t
announce. I haven�t seen anything about Accessibility and any of the tech
articles I have read. I wonder if anybody saw this with a sighted person,
and if anyone knows of anything publicly shown at the event regarding
voiceover accessibility. I can certainly think of some things. Fix the focus
bug and email would be my number one, and that�s not a new problem.
