I have been on the phone with Apple, but even he had me do (all that I already did):
Notifications to email, turn on, but it wouldn't stay on Mail to turn notifications to turn on, but it wouldn't stay on. So, then he had me go to Face ID and Passwords and rename my phone from iPhone to Carolyn's iPhone. We turned the phone off then on. We probably did more, I'm a little rattled, but regardless, his know-how is exhausted, so he has run diagnostics for the engineers at Apple. My question is do you know what to do to get notifications for Email? Also, when I go to the Email icon, it does not tell me if I have unread mail. Any help appreciated.
